SWRETAC - Home

The Southwest Regional Emergency and Trauma Advisory Council (SWRETAC) is a non-profit organization designed to help implement, on a regional level, the overall goals of both a statewide and local perspective. It's mission, is to retain, improve, and expand quality regional emergency medical and trauma services in Southwest Colorado. In addition, it is the intention of the council to precipitate a process by which any interested person can have a forum to constructively share their ideas, knowledge, and information to improve emergency medical services in Southwest Colorado. The Council is committed to excellence in health care.

The application for the 2009 SWRETAC Colorado Systems Development Funding is now available. Click the "Grants" tab for more information.
PLEASE SUPPORT!! A legislative initiative is in the works to make changes to Title 42, allowing for $1 to be added to the Colorado vehicle registration fee for additional support of EMS and trauma care throughout the state. Please click here for a packet containing additional information on how to support this initiative.
The position of SWRETAC EMS/Fire Representative for Montezuma County is currently vacant and needs to be filled soon. For more information (including application), contact the SWRETAC office.
